Today is the first
day of 2024. Happy new year!
At every turn someone shouts to you. The phone rings, just
to tell you the same. I am saying the same almost every few minutes to family,
friends and neighbours.
People definitely look, feel and sound happy, me
including.
2023 has just gone ten hours ago here near the Greenwich
line, but people seem to have forgotten it.
Everyone is celebrating the new arrival. Those for whom the
last year was not fruitful, or horrible, they are celebrating its demise,
hoping the new year will be better. For those who had a smashing 2023, they are
celebrating their achievements and hoping in 2024 they will fly even higher.
But truly, has anything really changed?
Yes, the Earth has just completed a full circle around
the Sun since last New year day but does it not do this every day if you start
mapping it from the same day last year?
The moral of the story is every moment in one's life is a
moment when a new chapter begins edging one to be hopeful of betterment and to
be happy, look happy and feel happy.
